Golf Tournament Proves To Be a Big Success

Way to go, golfers! With the help of 116 of you who turned out for our 5th Annual Golf Tournament at Charlotte’s Raintree Country Club, we raised more than $40,000 through registrations, sponsorships, raffles and contests. That’s a terrific result. The winning foursome, pictured here, was Eric Sodergren, Aon Hewitt; Rick Juraschek, Lincoln Financial; Patrick Sweeney, Mercer; and David Simas, USI. Tribute was also paid to Pat Bowes for launching the event five years ago. To show our support for Pat, who is suffering from ALS, we donated $1,000 of funds raised at the event to the NC chapter of the ALS Association.
